The Wes Herndon Band
The Wes Herndon Band is a Florida-based Southern Rock and blues-rock band with Americana androots-rock edges. Led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Wes Herndon, the group’s sound is built around soulful vocals, guitar-driven songs, strong grooves, and the ensemble chemistry that gives Southernmusic its pulse.
Gerald Timmerman
Born in the heart of Oklahoma’s Cherokee Nation, Gerald’s love for music began at age five, singing gospel with his family’s bluegrass group. A talented bassist and songwriter, he has shared the stage with Alison Krauss, Craig Morgan, Phil Vassar, and legendary Zydeco artist Rockin’ Sidney. Now based in western Pennsylvania, Gerald performs with Backroads and has written and copyrighted more than 30 original songs, while enjoying woodworking and the outdoors when he’s offstage.
